The event will see brightly painted life-size elephants located over central London this summer 2010. Each decorated by a different artist or celebrity, the elephants will brighten and beautify the city, being placed in prime locations around London.
Running from May to July 2010, this will be London's biggest public art exhibition. With an estimated audience of 25 million, the campaign is aiming to raise over £2 million for the Asian elephant and benefit more than 20 UK conservation charities.
This is the elephant Joanna has donated named 'Sally'. Joanna illustrates the hare and the folk law of the hare, taking a piece of Wiltshire up to London. The design incorporates mystical scenes of the moon, stars and for the first time crop circles. With a connection to the hare being the fertility goddess in Celtic belief.
Joanna is planned to be interviewed in her located spot early on this year.
