Pet Portrait Commissions || A4

STEP 1 - PICK A SIZE

I offer three different sizes from small to large, your choice may depend on your budget or the number of pets in your portrait. You can also choose to if you would like a head and shoulders or full body portrait. (There is an option to pay for the portrait with monthly instalments)

STEP 2 - CONTACT ME

Contact me to discuss. I will book the portrait into my schedule and check to if it is needed for a certain date, like a birthday, anniversary or special occasion.  A deposit of 1/3rd will be required to book your portrait into my diary. The final payment will be made once I’ve finished the portrait and you’ve approved it Please Note - We can discuss a monthly payment option, if you would prefer. The delivery of the portrait will be once the final payment is made.

STEP 3 - CHOOSE SOME PHOTO’S AND SEND TO ME

Choose a selection of photos that convey your pet’s personality, the more the better so I can get the overall feel of your pet. Try to choose clear shots so I can see eye detail and fur detail. Close ups and overall shots. If its head and shoulder’s you are booking – good head and shoulder shots. If it is full body – the pet lying, sitting and standing, but close ups of the head and shoulders too for detail.

STEP 1 - OUTLINE DRAWING

I will send an outline drawing for you to approve the overall position. Once this is approved, I will email you so you can watch the progress of your portrait on my Facebook Page and Instagram Page. This will give you the opportunity to make comments along the way and see how your portrait is coming along. If you would prefer me not to post on social media because it’s a surprise gift, please let me know.

STEP 2 - FINAL APPROVAL

I will contact you and send via email the overall finished picture. This will be for you to approve. Any minor adjustments can be made at this stage. Once your final approval has been made I will ask for final payment and schedule the delivery.

STEP 3 - MOUNTING, PACKING AND DELIVERY

I like to present the final portrait as the very special gift it is by mounting using acid free, conservation mount and backing board. This gives protection and longevity to your portrait, guarding against staining.  I include a certificate of authenticity, wrap in acid free tissue and pack it in a presentation box sealed with a pretty ribbon.
