Taurus is steadfast and stable, unruffled and calm. Loyal, even tempered, trustworthy and persevering. Being an earth sign I have connected the hare with Silbury Hill, an earth mound.

It is a solid stable structure persevering against time – the qualities of Taurus.

It is a very sensuous sign and its ruler is Venus, so I have placed Venus hallowing the hare.

Cattle usually grace the foot of Silbury Hill and the bull is the symbol of Taurus.

The constellation of Taurus is clearly depicted in the sky with Pleiades (the seven sisters) being the pointer to find Taurus. The constellation looks like a bulls head with horns.
