NB. The star sign 'with borders' artworks are the same as seen in the Treasure Hunt Book. The symbols in the border's meanings are linked to the star sign. The border is added to the size of the star sign artwork making these prints much larger as seen above in the size comparison between artwork without border and with border.
Hare’s can form a circle to watch the boxing match between a male and female, it is usually other male suitors in the circle waiting their turn – this is called a hare parliament.
I chose this to represent Aquarius because they are liberty loving and into social causes and debates. They are an air sign so the hares are floating in the sky.
Avebury also is a circle that was used not only as an amphitheater but also for a place for gatherings of people for debates; the circle echo’s the hares above. Both the use of Avebury and the gathering of hares represent an Aquarian since they are very sociable but they don’t like to be the centre of attention.
The constellation of Aquarius shows the composition of the picture between the hares and Avebury.
There are 12 hares purposely in the hare circle to represent the months of the year and the hours in the clock.
