Sandari is a beautiful Tiger that resides at Longleat in Wiltshire. There were many hours that were spent by Joanna in a Safari truck with a game keeper studying the tigers to produce this painting for her solo show at Lord Bath’s stunning Orangery – with the kind permission of Lord Bath.

The first original Joanna produced for her Longleat Exhibition was so popular that two clients asked her to do one for them, so she produced two more paintings in different positions, showing the different moods and expressions of Sandari. It is as if the tiger is turning from a profile position to looking at you face on.

The expression changes from proud and majestic to soft and then softer and playful when Sandari looks straight at you.
