This is the famous part of the River Kennet that flows through Marlborough College because Scorpio is a water sign.

Scorpio is supposed to have great inside knowledge. A hare is jumping the river to get away from a snake.

The night scene has the constellation of Scorpio in the sky which looks very much like a Scorpion; there is a distinct curled tail and two stars representing the sting.

To finish off the painting there is a tawny owl in the tree representing knowledge.
