The style was launched at Christies Art for Life Auction in 2004. The original painting was designed and donated to the auction by Joanna to help raise funds for Cancer Research.

At an auction held in 2005, a Zebra print reached £2,600 a record sale price! Zebras are one of her best selling subjects and this is one of her latest originals on display called 'Stripes II'.

For Joanna, the Zebra paintings were a dynamic change of direction from the hare and owl paintings. She was now working with the abstract patterns of world wildlife to fit with the interior design market.

The Zebra’s natural graphic markings work beautifully as a focal point for modern interiors.
